The truing unit offers Max.5,000 rpm. Can meet a succession of grinding of taper, straight, and R shape of inside diameter, which had been difficult until now.   Grinding time has been reduced to 1/3 compared with die-sinking electrical discharge machining. In addition, grinding accuracy has greatly improved. (Achieved roundness, flatness 0.1μm level) Turning operation is also possible by using tool instead of grindstone.   Measuring equipment is mounted in the machine to achieve excellent dimensional tolerance. This enables grinding diameter (inside /outside) and R (radius) diameter of spherical grinding to be measured without unloading the workpiece from chuck, which has greatly helped to improve productivity.
